Educonnect Pvt Ltd (a company associated with Islanders Education Pvt Ltd) has partnered with Finnish company EduCluster Finland Ltd to bring Finland Education to the Maldives.
EduCluster Finland, owned by University of Jyväskylä (one of the oldest and largest universities in Finland), currently owns and operates the Qatar Finland International School in Doha and is opening their second school in Abu Dhabi later this year. The Finland International School proposed to open in 2019 in Malé will only be the world’s 3rd Finland international school outside of Finland and the first in Asia.

During this event, Islanders Education Pvt. Ltd. also signed an agreement with Housing Development Corporation (HDC) to develop and operate an International School in Hulhumale. This school will be managed by Educonnect in collaboration with EduCluster as a Finland International School once opened in 2020.

EduCluster’s approach takes the Finland education concept and reinvents it keeping the local contexts and cultures in mind. We build a sustainable education model with you because we believe in learning for life,” noted Ms. Rikka Hassi, Unit Director of EduCluster Finland.
